A Mother’s Day Reflect!
As we celebrate Mother’s Day 2026, it’s a good time to fix our thoughts on our mothers. Motherhood is filled with profound joy. This Mother’s Day, we want every mom to hear how much you are appreciated, how much you are admired, and on this Mother’s Day we applaud you. We may not say it enough, but this Mother’s Day we want you to know that you do matters. You are seen, you are heard and you are valued.
We must be honest, moms carry heavy burdens, and wear many hats; she is a chef, she is a chauffeur, she is a caregiver and she is a coach. I’m certain she feels overloaded, she feels overwhelmed, she feels weigh down, she feels worn down and at the same time she feels unnoticed.
Whether you’re parenting little ones, parenting a grandchild, or parenting an adopted child, balancing work and family, nurturing your marriage. We remind you that God honors every sacrifice and be reminded that every act of love granted matters. The Lord will not forget your labor of love. The scripture states Hebrews 6:10 for God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love, which ye have shewed toward his name, in that ye have ministered to the saints and do minister.
This Mother’s Day, take a moment to be restored, renewed and refreshed. You can be refreshed by surrendering your burdens to Jesus, trusting in God’s strength over your own, and finding spiritual nourishment in the word of God.
Matthew 11:28 (NIV) Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
This verse invites mother’s physically, emotionally or spiritually exhausted to find profound rest and peace in Jesus. Be reminded you are not alone.
Our Prayer for Mothers
Heavenly Father, we thank you for the gifts of mothers, just as a mother’s work is never done, and her prayers for her children will never end. A piece of her heart is always with them. May every mother feel today the pride and beauty of the family they bear. We are grateful for the love you have taught us through the mothers in our lives. Bless all the mothers, bless all mothers who took the time for us, bless the mothers who helped us even though we were not their children. Bless all mothers today, may they know the fullness of love they have shared and bless every day of their lives.
Amen.

“Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now … if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”
